Kim and Ed- Familiar Faces and a Small Town Wedding

Meet Kim and Ed! These two said “I Do” on July 14, 2018. Kim and Ed were one of the first Lunenburg couples that chose Waverly Estate as their venue for their wedding. They had a truly local wedding with almost 200 guests from mainly the Lunenburg area and wedding vendors mostly all from Lunenburg as well. It was so great to see so many talented individuals come together to create a beautiful wedding for Kim and Ed. Many of the people involved in the wedding were people that we had met NOT doing weddings! The florist and baker was a lady named Beverley who helped us get our permit to operate as a wedding venue and bed and breakfast back in 2016. Who knew she would have such a talent for beautiful floral designs and baking?! The officiant was the county clerk of court who we had also met many times at local events! The photographer was the Lunenburg County high school photography teacher…and cheerleading coach! It was a pleasure to host a wedding where we were able to meet so many new faces from the area and also see quite a few that we already knew.

Kim and Ed asked for a short and sweet wedding ceremony under the three, so the officiant ran through the vows, pronounced them Mr. and Mrs. and directed guests over to cocktail hour to kick off the celebration! The wedding party and the wedding guests had a fun time and partied until it was quitting time!

Kim and Ed- congratulations! We were so happy to be a part of your big day. We hope to see you around this little town! We wish you tons of love and happiness in life and in marriage!
