SWEET NOTES FROM WAVERLY Couples
I don’t even know where to begin! Waverly was the second venue we toured and afterward we couldn’t bring ourselves to go anywhere else! My husband and I immediately fell in love with the property and with Sarah. From the time we signed our contract on, Sarah was great at communicating with us (which was super important as COVID arrived mid-planning and almost forced us to postpone). She sent updates on how they were following the changing COVID-19 regulations and remained positive & encouraging throughout our planning process.
My husband and I agree that one of the best choices we made for our wedding was choosing the weekend package at Waverly Estate. Having the venue all weekend and staying there the night before the wedding with our wedding party put us at ease and made preparations so much simpler! We had time to start setting up the day before and have our rehearsal dinner on the property. One of my favorite memories from the week was spending time with friends & family in the estate house before our wedding. It was such a lovely atmosphere and such a beautiful house!
Leading up to our wedding, the weather did not look like it was going to be great for the outdoor ceremony we had planned. There was quite a bit of rain forecasted and Sarah helped us come up with a solid plan B. On the day of the wedding Sarah kindly let me hold out on deciding where we would hold the ceremony for as long as possible and we ended up being able to hold it outside under the hackberry tree as we had always dreamed of doing! It was pretty damp and humid but the rain held out until we were safely inside of the reception space dancing the night away! The property looked gorgeous even on an overcast day and looked great in all of our photos and videos!
We really appreciated how hands on Sarah and her team were—helping with last minute decor setup, coordinating the ceremony and even taking her own photos of special moments throughout the day. We really loved how personal & intimate a wedding at Waverly Estate felt and absolutely loved our time there working with Sarah!

I cannot speak highly enough of Sarah and her incredible staff at Waverly Estate. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew that it was our dream location. Even with all of the unexpected hardships 2020 brought our way, Sarah and her team worked tirelessly to ensure our wedding day would be a bright spot! Having the opportunity to enjoy the wedding weekend and festivities at one location is unbeatable, especially when your venue has ALL of the beautiful event spaces that Waverly has to offer. I mean, have you seen the new reception space?! The chapel?! Waverly Estate provided everything we were looking for and more. We are incredibly grateful that we found Waverly and that we found Sarah. Do yourselves a favor, and go ahead and book your dream wedding. We are so glad that we did.

My husband and I got married here last Saturday and we could not be happier with Waverly Estate. Sarah and Collin were so thoughtful and kind and truly went above and beyond to ensure our wedding weekend was perfect. Even with some last minute changes, they were so patient and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Waverly Estate to anyone looking for a beautiful venue!

My husband and I just got married at Waverly Estate this past weekend... and we truly could not have picked a more perfect place for our wedding. Sarah and Collin went above and beyond from day one! They were amazing with communication, open to all of our ideas and just the most generous, kind-hearted people we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Sarah was the most incredible day-of coordinator and the day ran so smoothly thanks to her! Our wedding day was more perfect than we could’ve ever imagined, and we will be forever grateful to Sarah & Collin and their beautiful Waverly Estate!

We cannot thank Sarah and Collin enough for making our wedding day in October so perfect! The venue was absolutely beautiful and it was the perfect place to have both our ceremony and reception. The house is full of so much charm and the outside grounds were the perfect backdrop for our wedding. Sarah and Collin helped make sure every detail of the day came seamlessly together! I would absolutely recommend Waverly Estate to anyone who is looking for a beautiful venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces!

I had my wedding here in August, and it was so perfect! Sarah and her husband were wonderful to work with, and they have created the perfect venue for a wedding! I highly recommend booking with them. You won't regret it! Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Thank you for everything you and Collin did to make it a perfect event from beginning to end! From my daughter's perspective as a bridesmaid, she loved being at the house with Selina and all the other girls on Friday night and felt like it allowed everyone to be more relaxed for the "big day." Selina did a great job of making sure there was plenty of food and beverages available for the bridesmaids in the morning and then for the guys at lunchtime. Being able to store everything at the house was terrific!
The weather couldn't have been more perfect - we had a lot of people praying for that one! - and it just made everything else at Waverly that much better. It was nice to be out on the patio for the cocktail hours and to simply relax and visit with family and friends. The seating options you had around the grounds were wonderful and allowed people to congregate in small groups to chat. The reception venue absolutely hit it out of the ballpark! It really is a great facility and you all have done a beautiful job with appointing it with such lovely touches. I can't believe we actually got to open the big doors to let some air through! Did not think that would happen in March!
Again, I wanted to let you know what a beautiful weekend we all had and how much being able to contact you/approach you with so many random questions really made it easier for planning purposes. Your flexibility and prompt responses were greatly appreciated!
